Crippled Soul

CRIPPLED SOUL

Watchin’ the sunset,
The clouds are ablaze and my minds in a haze
And I’m, travelin’ in the dark, contempt in my heart.
I was once just a happy man,
Not a care in the world I had the plan
Now that’s all changed, my life’s been rearranged.
Life has taken it’s toll, I’ve got a crippled soul.

I don’t know how this came to be,
Don’t know what’s become of me But I’m fallin’ down to hell
My soul is just an empty shell.
A glimmer of light brightens up m day
But then the clouds return, the light fades away.
My soul is bound in the dark, pain and fear surround my heart.
Life has taken it’s toll, I’ve got a crippled soul.

CHORUS

Is there anyone in the world to heal my crippled soul?
Anyway in the world to mend a crippled soul?
Could it just be love that saves my crippled soul?
My crippled soul.

Watchin’ the sunrise,
As the day unfolds I don’t feel so old
Thanks to help from all my friends, but the pain it never ends.
I see the path to the light of day
But the veil returns, To shroud my way.
My beliefs no longer true, I don’t know what to do
Life has taken it’s toll, I’ve got a crippled soul.

CHORUS
